	Wendy's Dream The opening of a safe, quality child care facility in our community was a dream for many years. I am honored to be sharing that dream with your family. For Kids Only has been designed and built to comply with the strict regulations of the New York State Office of Children and Family Services. Our facility provides modern classrooms, library, gym, kitchen and spacious outdoor play areas. We offer flexible programs to meet the changing needs of today's working parents. Our Mission The mission of For Kids Only childcare facility is to offer flexibility in our programs to meet the changing needs of our families and their schedules. Our motto is "De-Stress - Not Distress." We encourage you to speak with us about your family's special needs. We provide a safe environment with educational activities and opportunities for free choice. Programs will vary to meet the developmental needs of the children. Experienced, nurturing staff will be ever present to facilitate growth in a learning rich environment. The safety of all the children enrolled is our primary concern. No child will ever be left alone or unsupervised. On the playground, staff will be assigned in such a way as to assure clear oversight of all parts of the play area. All staff will be cleared by the State Central Registry and will submit the required medical histories along with a fingerprint check. They will also be trained in basic emergency care of children. Staff receive ongoing staff development. For Kids Only is licensed to administer medications to children as directed by the child's physician.

Your Child's Home Away From Home We want your child to consider For Kids Only a home away from home. We encourage you to share special occasions with us. To celebrate a birthday, send in a special snack (keep it simple - no hats or favors etc.). We will have our own way of making your child feel special. Let us know if there is a new baby in the house or even a new pet. We have lots of age appropriate toys in the classrooms, so children need not bring things from home. If they have a special toy that they like to rest/nap with, we will keep it in the cubby until rest time. It is often easier for children to share with school toys than those that they feel a special attachment to. Since safety is an all important factor, we do not allow guns, sharp objects, gum or candy.
